Christianity and Science

This four-week study explains why we should recognize a positive relationship between Christianity and science. It covers the history and nature of modern science, interpreting Bible passages on creation, scientific pointers to God, and evolution. It’s designed for high school youth, college students, and older adults.

If desired for classes, small groups, or special studies, each presentation video could be divided into two segments using the main sections in the lesson outlines as a guide.

Did you know?

• About half (53%) of church-going teens say “the church seems to reject much of what science tells us about the world.”
• A 2025 survey by Lifeway revealed that 53% of Americans age 18-34 agree that “modern science disproves the Bible.”
• 32% of the NONES (those who do not affiliate with any religion) say that “modern science proves religion is a superstition.”
• About 25% say that science is an “important reason” why they no longer affiliate with any religion.
